Tasting Notes: Purple in colour with a wide array of dark berry fruit (including black cherry and raspberry) Spice notes complemented by toasted oak add complexity.
Winemaking: Destemming and gentle crushing limited the am ount of harsh tannins. Fermentation in stainless steel was followed by ageing in medium toast French oak, slow baked to give a delicate nutty vanilla character. Gentle filtration has helped to preserve the fruit character of this wine.
